Wood
A collection of Philippine timber can be found in the herbarium. It is a valuable addition to the Herbarium since it provides additional information regarding plant structure. Currently the collection is being inventoried.
Bottled specimens
An extensive collection of specimens of Philippine drugs, Foreign drugs, Fruits, Plant and Animal Products are stored in bottles. These served as materials for both research and teaching.
Philippine drugs
Samples of plants with medicinal properties used locally to treat various ailments are kept in the PUH. A catalogue of existing specimens is being prepared.
Foreign drugs
Plants not native to the Philippines have also been extensively used to treat the most common to the rarest illnesses. A sample of some of these plants are stored in the PUH.

Seed and flower collection
Dried seeds and flowers collected from forest dynamics plots across the country are the newest addition to the PUH's bottle collections.
