The Jose Vera Santos Memorial Herbarium has recently been moved to the new Institute of Biology Building at the National Science Complex in UP Diliman, from its former home at the Pavillion 4 of Palma Hall. Collections are currently being cleaned, reviewed and recorded by herbarium staff with the help of student assistants and student interns from the Far Eastern University. In addition, bryophyte and auxiliary collections, such as bottled plant products and wood collections, are now in the care of the herbarium.

The herbarium once again welcomes researchers who wish to consult or avail references in the library as well as experts to annotate specimens.
